I found a beautiful dress that was on consignment from a downtown PDX bridal shop. Never worn... fits like a glove without any alterations. My dress retails over $1,400 online and I paid $450 from The Shabby Chic in Salem. I wanted a dress with cap sleeves and modest top and I found it! So thankful! Customer service was great but come with at least one friend to help get dresses off the hangers ;)

After all the disappointment, I certainly will NOT RETURN to "Shabby Chic Bride Consignment Shop", ever again to spend my money on such HORRID customer service! Hope this review will help you evaluate clearly before you walk in this store! Yesterday I went there, we purchased several items at the store, in which the total amount was USD 223, and we paid it in full. Later I noticed on their Facebook page that they had specified to show appreciation to all military personnel 5% discount, since they were so "obliging", I thought I could call the store. When I called the store I spoke to the store owner instead of the staff because she couldn't make any decisions. I told the owner I forgot to mention yesterday that my husband serves the country, so politely I asked if there is any possibility of negotiation for getting the 5% discount, she immediately said unkindly "No, because you forgot and it is too late and it is not possible to give a refund!". In the first place I wasn't expecting for any full amount refund nor did I expect the same price as for the 2 petticoats and gloves they offered 2 months ago for USD 58.5, I even kept the price list till now, however, I brought it up the fact that they did offer USD 58.5 back then and I wanted to see what explanation they would give me. Well, the owner, who couldn't explain a clear reason why they offered USD 58.5, instead she unkindly said the offer from the previous staff was completely wrong, that it is not possible they would give out such a low price. Furthermore, she said no negotiation at all because yesterday I forgot to tell them my husband serves the country. Despite on the price given from them was wrong or not getting the 5% discount, the owner talking attitude was super bad and her attitude only went from BAD to WORSE, in which it got on my nerves. I said, "My whole point is that I am just asking what you could do for me to get the 5% discount that I forgot to mention yesterday. She said again unkindly "Nothing, you forgot and it's too late now! If you go to Target to buy things and go back next day you wouldn't get any discount. If you go to David's Bridal you wouldn't get the price we offered!". I said "David's Bridal has everything brand new with tops bridal's dresses designers. I didn't call to have argument with you, but to negotiate and get help, I just purchased them yesterday at your store, not that you CAN NOT do anything about it, but is that you DO NOT WANT TO do anything about it from the very beginning of our conversation, so you've better watch your talking attitude". Then she said, "Oh, then you don't come to my store ever again!", after saying that she HUNG UP the phone right on my face! She not only hung up the phone, but during the whole conversation NOT ONCE DID SHE APOLOGIZE for their mistake and on top of that extremely AWFUL customer service. In over all, the worst thing is the owner's RUDE attitude. One of my friend went there as well, she said to me I was lucky on not going there on summer time because the store was like an oven, there was no air conditioner and she felt like going to an abandoned warehouse, moldy smell all over the store, after 5 minutes of being at the store she couldn't stand the smell anymore and left. I have to admit she is right! Beware! If you leave this store with your product, you are on your own. Her attitude was rude and made no effort to make things better. No one deserves this treatment. I can guarantee that I will never recommend "Shabby Chic Bride Consignment Shop" to anyone after all the disappointment!

Absolutely the best place in the Willamette Valley to buy a wedding dress. The consultants were so helpful and I found the absolutely perfect dress. They were helpful and willing to work within my budget. They have hundreds of gowns to choose from in every size! I had been to 5 other places and no one was as wonderful as The Shabby Chic Bride. If you dont come here, your missing out! Thank you ladies for all your help!
