Two Way Radio World

I ordered a battery for my Icom radio a month ago and have not received battery, tried to call company, no response e mail comes back not good address. I have consulted with Cal. Attorney generals office and they want an address of Two Way Radio World for complaint. I am not sure if they are in Cal. Need an address to file complaint, does anyone have their ground address?

Can't contact in anyway charged my card 10 days ago and not a word from two way radio world. They should change their name to One way radio world. Bad deal

Ordered battery for Ham Radio... waited over week. Website kept showing not yet shipped. No reply to emails and no answer on phone. Scammers!

THEY CHARGE YOUR CARD, FILE A US POSTAL SERVICE TRACKING NUMBER AND NEVER SEND THE PRODUCT. SO POSTAL SERVICE FRAUD IS TAKING PLACE. ALL PHONE NUMBERS AND EMAIL ARE FAKE. THEY ARE HOSTED BY Contact Privacy Inc. Customer *******170 and tucows.com (Tucows Domains Inc) both out of Ontario Canada.

I ordered a battery on July 23rd; got a USPS tracking number. Still waiting. Their phone number is a scam -- all you get is ads. No human after dozens of attempts. They do not answer emails. I can't believe they're still on a website. Absolutely a pile of manure. Do not order anything from this "company", they are a total ripoff.

Deduct payment on order, not on shipping or delivery. No response on e-mail or phone. No physical address. Sale ending in top bar shows today's date each day. Fake reviews. Stay away.

Placed an order for something they claimed was in stock and would ship from within California... for me that would be a 1-2 day delivery max. Received order confirmation. Couple days go by no tracking or anything... but credit card was charged when order was placed (not supposed to charge until it ships). Tried calling... nobody... tried emailing... bounces back... tried their chat tab on website... doesn't work. All the elements of scammers. I found it hilarious when you read on their website under the about us... it says "our promise"... blah... blah. Excellent customer service... blah... blah... obviously they must have cut and pasted that from a real company. I'd rather pay a few bucks more to deal with a company that answers its phone.

I DID finally receive the battery 20 days after ordering and after my initial review here. They debited my account the day my order was placed. Return address was Expert Computer Int'l, 6437 Alondra Blvd, Paramount, CA *******.

Their initial email said they were preparing my order and would contact me when it shipped. I never heard from them again. Their initial email said I could reply to the email and also listed an email address if I had questions. My emails bounced.

The "view your order" button on the initial email led to a tracking screen that said (and TO THIS DAY says) that my order has not yet been shipped.

Their initial email also included a link to receive an invoice. When I clicked it, an error message read, "PDF could not be generated as this account is no longer active. Please contact us on..." and listed the email address... that bounces.

When I called their telephone number, the automated system said that number was for placing orders only and that inquiries about existing orders are handled only by email (which... bounces).

When I went to the "order support" tab on their website, I was able to fill out a ticket, but I did not receive a response as promised (I was told to expect a response within 24 hours). When I filled out another ticket two days later and sent it, an automated message appeared on my screen stating that submitting multiple tickets would result in a delayed response. I'm not sure what adding a delay to "no response whatsoever" means, but I never received a response to either ticket.

So, yes, I did finally receive the battery after 20 days (the website had said three days, which is why I ordered from this company in the first place). The battery I received was 700 mAh and the one I ordered was 1450 mAh, but from what I have read, the one I received is compatible with my radio. I'm charging it now (it's been a while and the light is still red). We'll see if it works.

But my review will remain one star for now even if the battery is good because I was completely in the dark after the sale. It is IMPOSSIBLE to correspond with this company. The fact that they provided five means of contacting them and NONE of them worked convinced me I'd been scammed, so much so that I'd given up on receiving the product and was at the point of ordering from someone else and investigating legal recourse. The delay in shipping does not bother me nearly as much as the complete lack of communication.

I would not recommend this sort of gamble to anyone. However, if someone's experience is different and I can verify for myself that I can reach a human at this company, I will gladly update my review.
