When reading so many negative reviews AFTER I had ordered a Smith and Wesson Extreme Ops automatic knife from Unique Blade, I was in fear of being ripped off. However, in my experience with them I was pleased with what I considered a very fair price, found that my order was expedited in far less time than I expected, and that the product was as advertised: a quality product. Thank you Unique Blade for delivering excellent service.

Well like everyone else said "HORRIBLE COMPANY"I ordered 5 knives two weeks ago and still have not gotten any type of confirmation although they did immediately debit my bank account, I mean within minutes of the order. They DO NOT answer the phone I don't care when or how many times you call. I am reporting them to the better business bureau and the State Attorney Generals office in their State and mine. Then I am gong to start a Class Action Lawsuit. Shameful...

Ordered two knives. Was charged for two knives. Only received ONE knife. Okay, mistakes will happen -- BUT, then I discover it is nearly impossible to make contact with them, and even if you do, they do not attempt to solve the problem. -Stu-

I'm going after them legally! I bought small knife and fell apart! I think this is Consumer Fraud they are giving a faulty products and not honoring them and getting your money back or giving you back a better item in place of it! Go to Facebook and report it! Contact consumer affairs or the Better Business Bureau! Also reported to the website about this company! Do not buy from this company!

I received an incomplete order and a knife that was sticky, like it had soda spilled on not just the handle but both sides of the blade. I also was missing one of the cases I ordered. I wrote the company an email and sent pics and they ignored me. The case was less than $2.00 but I'm mad enough to contact the BBB if I don't get a refund for it or it doesn't show up in the mail. So do yourself a favor and stay away. The Knives are cheaply made compared to competitor sites and you are likely not going to have a good experience.

Ordered a blade from this joke of a company and after 40 days never recv'd it. Tried calling several times... no answer. Tried emailing a couple times... no response; even though their site says a response will be in 24 hrs. At this point I'm filing a claim with my CC for a refund and let them deal with it. I will NEVER buy from them again, and would highly recommend all people stay away from them... terrible company!

I bought three knifes over a two year time. One was a piece of $#*!. The second was bought for a friend, he has trouble with it. My final purchase was for a $50.00 knife. It's a brand name automatic knife that stopped being automatic after the spring broke. I tried to contact them them 3 times through their web site, you know the site that says customer service will respond within 24 hours. What BS that was, I received no customer service response, EVER. Tried calling customer service once, got the run around.
I packed up the knife, sent it back with a letter. I have no hope of receiving anything back, they'll just throw it in the trash.
I wouldn't buy a can opener from this company. Stay far away

I've placed two orders with them. The first came in about a week and was good.
About a week later I placed a second order with them. It also came in about a week. One of 4 items i received was not what I ordered. I tried to contact them through their web site RMA form claiming 24 response - no response. I called them and was directed to their online RMA form. I filled out the online form a second time - no response. I called again and left a voice message with their customer service - no response. I called again and somewhere in the voice automated greeting heard a reference to an RMA e-mail address - *******@uniqueblade.com. I've sent them an 3 e-mails, one a week, and no response.

Tip for consumers:
Buy at your own risk from uniqueblade.com. Congratulations if they get your order right. They got mine right the first time. These are very low cost knives, so don't expect benchmade qualtiy at these prices and you won't be disappointed. Condolences if they get your order wrong. My experience is you will not be able to reach them to resolve the issue. I will not order from UB again. I found another business for mail order automatics in Florida. I ordered a knife from this website and, when it arrived, was disappointed to find that it was the dullest knife I've ever purchased. It is more like a blunt object than a knife! Like many others, I attempted to reach their customer service for returns, and their answering machine states that all returns have to be done via email. I have emailed them four (4) times within the last week, and have gotten no response. I wish I had found this website before I purchased the knife, as the negative reviews have all been spot on! Would never purchase from them again.

I Ordered Two Knives From Unique Blade And Received The Wrong Items. I Returned Then And A Few Weeks Later Revived The Knives I Ordered. Unfortunately One Of The Switch Blades Stopped Opening After Being Fired A Hand Full Of Times. The Button Is Impossibly Hard To Push And The Only Way I Can Own The Knife Is To Hold The Blade Down And Then The Button Will Release. Very Annoying To Have To Deal With Returning My Order Twice To This Site. Dissatisfied. Period.

I really wanted to give 0 stars. I have contacted them by email three times to get some assistance, too no avail. I ordered a knife for my son and it does not function properly and only opens and closes with much difficulty. I wanted a replacement but can get no response from them. POOR customer service. The phone number never actually connects you to a human being. Very disappointed.

DO NOT order from this company, no email contact, no return phone call, paid for expedited shipping and got items a month after ordered and the products are crap. Stay far away from this seller and take your business somewhere else.

Bought two inexpensive knives. One of the two was broken upon arrival. Not dropped or smashed but just did not work. Asked for a way to replace three times and got no response at all. Its clear to me this is a 2nd job, hobby, with people that do not stand by their products.

Ordered side opening switchblade. Delivered in a timely manner. Thumb lock non-functional. Company offered refund, but reviews state that refunds or exchanges never happen, so... Company states that there isn't a lock on this knife. Sent pictures. No response. BTW... knife opened while IN POCKET. Almost castrated myself. Talk about a site jabber!

I ordered one 200$ knife 17 days ago and I still haven't received my knife. I have called a dozen times with no answer, but I was able to leave a voice mail and none of my calls were returned. I have also sent 3 emails with no response. Please take my advice don't even spend one penny on a toothpick because you will get nothing.

Here's my experience. I have done business with Unique Blade for many years. Far too many years than they deserved. To order online, there is a username and password and for 10 years, I kid you not, this has never worked. Somehow, I am able to buy/sell on E-Bay, Amazon, Walmart.com, Etsy and various other online stores. Nothing, no matter what, worked for these people, however. So I would call and they would issue me a *new" user name and password and assure me this would work and would take my order by phone "just this once" in the meantime. Guess what? The next time I went to order, the new password that THEY issued, didn't work, so I would call again. Just today, I endeavored to use the password Unique Blade issued me and it didn't work so I called. I was informed that my phone number was blocked by them. I am confused...

I have been a prompt paying, long-time customer, I have never complained or made a return. However, because they can't get their ordering situation in gear, they will now block a long-time, paying customer? Sounds like the better plan would be to get their act together.

The bright side of this story is that I found another knife place with better prices and better customer service, so Unique Blade actually did me a favor.

A couple of years ago I wrote a review. At the time I had just finished dealing with Unique Blades. I was very happy with the service and product I received. I have recently not had the same luck. On the second time around I was not happy with the product. I did not get the service I expected. Just contacting the company was challenging. I will no longer do any business with this company.

After months of no product, no refund and response to my many emails and phone calls, I finally got a bogus email from a "Customer Service" rep called Mary saying my lack of support from their company was due to an incompetent Temp worker. She assured me that they would make good on my order, and would even send 2 items because of all I had gone through. It has now been about 8 weeks since that email, still no product and no refund. I tried several times to get in touch with this Mary person, who I don't think really exists. Just the other week I recv'd another email from someone named Lynn saying that the reason my emails were not responded to this time was due to their spam filter blocking my emails. This person asked if I recv'd everything, when I replied No I never heard back... bigger shock. As I said before, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE A FRAUD AND A CHEAT. Here it is almost 4 months since my initial order, no product and no refund. I have since reported them, so this has escalated to those who are able to deal with them properly. Definitely the worst company I have ever dealt with. These rip-off online stores give the rest a bad name. If you must order from an independent website (outside of ebay and Amazon) do yourself a favor and order through Blade Play, I recv'd their product in 3 days... no problems.

Tip for consumers:
STAY AWAY FROM UNIQUEBLADE...A BOGUS COMPANY SETUP TO RIP ONLINE SHOPPERS OFF!!!

I ordered a knife a few days ago and have a few questions so I have been calling the 3 numbers they give on the site and they say there business hrs are 11am to 4 pm mon. To fri. And no matter how many times I call no one ever answers any suggestins

Got my knife, opened it once and it hasn't been closed since. It's broke. First f'n use. I emailed them and they ignored me. They don't take phone calls... they know they're selling garbage. F these Aholes. Wish i would've checked this site first. $17 lesson learned...

This is my 2nd order place with unique blade and I am surprised at the high customer service they have provided. I had a problem with my 2nd order and had to rach out to customer service. Not only was my order corrected, expedited and they went far further than I ever expected from an online business to do to make sure I was satisfied. Very friendly and I will definately keep doing business with them and recommend them to my friends as well.

I got a knife from them 2 wks ago and they have not replied to any of my emails to the return email address... They don't take calls and promise to reply in 24hrs. Never have and I am stuck with a auto knife that does not work!

Last December I ordered a knife from Unique Blade. It was a "Shell Puller" with stag handles, at the cost of $89.99. It was to be a Christmas present for a good friend who was in town. 3 weeks after I received it the leaf spring broke. I was told to send it back for a replacement after they made it sound like the springs just don't break without tampering with them, which was kind of an insult. After waiting several weeks I contacted Unique Blade and was told they were out of stock. I kept offering to take another "Bill Deshivs Leverletto" with stag handles that seld for $79.00 ($10.00 less), plus a pair of brass knuckles paperweight that sells for $19.99. But that was out of the question, in fact, they would not even respond to that. Plus they seemed to be OUT OF STOCK on any other knife I liked or in that price range. Then I was told they had 1 Honey Horn shell puller they would send me that was in great working order. It came in, and what a disappointment. It had a wobbly blade, so around and around we went again. I finally settled for JUST the "Bill Deshivs $79.00 stag horn knife, and nothing extra. I basically lost $10.00 on the deal not counting the shipping back 2 times. Now after being opened a few hundred times, the spring broke in this one, and I received it it Febuary. I have had side openers for over 40 years and never had this problem before, especially 3 out of 3 times. Now they won't even deal with me, and say they can't find my order except for the one in Febuary. Buyers beware, their quality seems to be a little on the low side, and they won't honor their warrenty. The last knife I got was way too late for Christmas, so I kept it myself for work opening boxes, and yes it had to be sharpened. If you want quality look somewhere else. Here is the warrenty they state:
Unique Blade, LLC offers a 30 day warranty period after the item is delivered if the item is defective. If your item is factory defective we will exchange the item at no additional cost to you for the exact same model. If the model is no longer available you will receive a store credit good toward any item of equal or greater value. Most name brand items have a factory warranty anywhere from 30 days to Limited Lifetime. If your item has a factory warranty, then you need to contact the manufacturer if the Unique Blade, LLC 30 day warranty period has passed. Return shipping charges are your responsibility, unless the mistake is ours and you request a refund. Example: We sent the wrong item by mistake. Your item(s) must be returned in the same condition as they were sent to you. Any items that have been abused, sharpened, showing signs of customer repairs (disassembled) or have missing/damaged boxes and or paperwork will be refused and sent back C. O. D. Or the restocking fee may be raised from 15% to 25% and done so on a case by case basis.

They sell unique & quality made products. Low cost knives to high end knives, but all seem quality assured. My order arrived exactly the minimum time they estimated. I have no problems and recommend this company!

Tip for consumers:
From my experience, they don't sell junk. I do believe the higher the price, the higher the quality, but no matter the price they don't sell junk. They seem like a good honest knife business.
