“Smaller Business = Higher Prices”

UPDATE: One of my co-workers recently went there to get an $11 meal and was charged $13 for asking why she was charged for the wrong price. The cashier then changed the price on the menu board to reflect that but the price listed on website is still $11. They are a bunch of scam artists who don't care for the customers, no matter what skin color they are. All they are interested is cheating you out of your money. Never going to eat there again if I or anyone I know is going to treat me that way. I had their seasonal Mac and Cheese and it was way too dry. The concept was ok but not my cup of tea unless you like it really baked. I like the Mac and Cheese from Koo Koo Roo; shame there is none on the westside since they closed down in 2013. I wish Uplifters Kitchen would have a list of ingredients on their website and on their chalkboard menu. It was a Good Friday and I was not suppose to eat meat but their Mac and Cheese had sausage. I asked to add eggs to my salad but could not get the eggs poached or boiled. I wished they would list the available options on either menus mentioned previously. Overall, too pricey and probably would not returned. I like to support local businesses but this place is not for me.
