I got a complete vehicle report plus market value at no cost. I am very amazed that information like these are given absolutely free.
Here is the scam. It is a network of dealers who seek information on any crash of your car. Then they change that it was totally lost. Then they contact you and make you a very low offer since your car is supposedly worth nothing because it was written off as a total loss. These criminals can change the information on the page. Go to official pages. This is a scam. I found my car there as total loss and it was never total loss. Be carefull guys.

Literally no info. Specs and recalls only. They came back saying data can be slow to update and the truck hasn't been registered since 2008. Scam!

Used another service that gave me the actual info for $2 more

From being originally presented as free. Then being told it's $1. Sounds alright whatever I'll just pay the 1$. They charge me $1.44 and a $35 hidden fee. Completely chomped. Only found out about the $35 deduction when I checked my bank statement. Proper scam. Sad I couldn't see reviews until I looked up reviews
Tip for consumers:
Don’t use this

Got 2 data info from this. The year and make. That’s all
What a bunch of garbage.
There has got to be more information than what these guys sent me. A total waste of $10. My odometer on this truck is over 153,000. They say the last report is in the 23,500 range. I have had reportable accidents with this truck, I have had speeding tickets, I have had the dealership rebuild the transmission at 36,000, I have had it inspected every year since I had got it in 2008. What a messed up system these guys have! I put 1 star and say I would like to rate them a negative 2 stars.
I ordered the report from Vincheck hoping the report would give me some useful information before I buy the car, but the report is a scam it has information you already know, like the year and make of the car, model, VIN, manufacturer, etc. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this report.

I'm so careful with this $1 one time charge. I gave my card for a website asking for one dollar charge and later they would return it to my card, and they did, but then they started to charge $63 every month. I blocked them on that card. They charged with another SCAM name. People are saying the same thing of this. Becareful!
I tried to get the 1.00 purchase for a one time vin check. It then signed me up for reoccurring charges. I called customer service to tell them that I don't want monthly service and they are trying to take a 19.99 cancellation fee from my account. I've emailed them multiple times and now no response. I do not reccomend this service!
Yea, really shaddy - some guy pushing me to do it so that he can "purchase my vehicle full price". Then no response when I tell him to meet me in person to see the vehicle first.
I called customer service 5 times in the last few weeks. I got an all lines are busy, will call you back shortly.
Still haven't received a call back. Im being charged for services I did not request.
Site is a joke. Paid the $9.95 for a report, issued me a report for a different vehicle. Same make and model but the information is incorrect and/or fake. Milage is different from the actual car and who knows if the sales history is correct. Car I'm looking at has 44k miles, report is 56,324.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use the site.

Vin look up for buying used car.
I've compared the information to the info I got from a CarFax report and there isn't a lot of difference when you get down to brass tacks. With Vincheck it's necessary to read between the lines a bit, for example, there are 2 title records, and from that, I gather there were 2 owners, etc. But it's free for heaven's sake. The car I checked is from a distant family member so I can independently verify the report's correctness. I'd suggest getting info from a couple of sources, but why not use this site - it only costs your time.
I did the check and clicked on the $1.00 button. My credit card was charge a subscription by-weekily fee of 29.95. I did not sign up for this service and got my card to block this charge. Beware!
Tip for consumers:
That they have hidden charges that they are no up front about.

Vin number check
I ran a VinCheck report on a vehicle my daughter was interested in purchasing and it stated no accidents. When we went to the dealership and asked for the Carfax it actually had 3 accidents listed on the report. We asked for a report on another vehicle, which also listed as no accidents. This particular vehicle was in 1 accident.
This service is incredibly useful for anyone buying a used car. I can't believe they are providing the information for free! I highly recommend this website for anyone in the market for a used vehicle.
Be careful with this site, it belongs to the famous cheater Jesse Willms. Just type in google this name and you will find a lot of information about his actions. He never does anything for free. Read the privacy policy, he can sell the data you entered to anyone and you will be pursued by annoying sellers.
I've used this site several times and they do not charge anything! You will seldom find a company who offer their service 100% free so I am very amazed with VInCheck.info!
I did a little experiment on this website, I went onto Carfax, looked up some cars which have had accidents, and copied the vin into this vincheck.info. Yeah it was not pretty. Some cars which have had accidents according to carfax are apparently totally fine, and the salvage titles may not always show up correctly. I will admit, SOME times it DID show that a car was involved in an accident, but its not guaranteed. As a free vin lookup, I guess you can use it, it COULD be accurate in a few instances, but don't use its results as reassurance, Carfax may be expensive, but its WAY more accurate than this, or ANY other reputable vin look ups.

The Free Vin Lookup
If you want to know a used car's vehicle history for free, VinCheck.info can give you the details about accidents, liens, safety ratings, specifications, and others you need. It's like a free carfax report but without having to pay for anything.
Tip for consumers:
Either VIN or plate number would do in generating a report for a used car. Compare the reports from either input to check for possible frauds.
