I purchased three pairs of glasses from VisionWorks Zona Rosa this past year. One was just for new lenses in a five year old frame. The other two were new frames from VisionWorks. One was made by Ray Ban, the other was a Columbia frame. After about 6 months I noticed the gunmetal finish on the Columbia frame was flaking off. VisionWorks only warrants their lenses for 100 days, and would not replace or make an adjustment on the Columbia frames. Even though they are the retailer, they told me I would have to deal with the manufacturer. I contacted Marchon, Inc. about this problem with photos on two occasions, but can get no response. Just a word of warning. VisionWorks will not stand behind the products they sell. They will not be seeing me again... or anyone in my family.
Tip for consumers:
I did not have my receipt available for download. I have purchased several pairs of eyeglasses from VisionWorks over the years, as has my wife, mainly due to the location and convenience, and fact that they honor VSP. They are not any cheaper than other places. I was very surprised that they would not replace the frames, which probably costs them less than $20. Their loss.
Customer service is horrible, they are slow, uncaring, their over the phone scheduling service is rediculous and they have a two week wait for all glasses. I recommend Eyeglass World for anything you need. They are super friendly and have one day service.
