When I started web design I used this host and was very happy with it. The support (Live Chat Support) was brilliant too.
But I honestly can't remember why I decided to find a different host. But now, their website seems dodgy, so just ignore it.
Fear they have gone bust whilst taking my money to renew domains but allowing them to expire. So no money and no domains!
Stay clear
Hi i was invoiced a few months ago regarding the renewal of my domain name which i had paid on the 28th of December 2011 and the money was taken from my account on the 29th of December but today received an e-mail from Nominet telling me that it has not been renewed and had expired so they took my money and did nothing. After i paid for the renewal i also paid for another domain which they failed to purchase after they took my money. Nobody replies to my e-mails their live chat facility is so busy i never get to correspond with anyone and spent 23 minutes on the phone today listening to how important my call was but never got to speak to anyone i can't believe a company is allowed to operate like this still taking peoples money with no intention of providing a service Don't touch this company they used to be good but now they might as well be a scam site
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. FRAUDULENT COMPANY.
Web-mania take your money but do not provide the services you purchase.
We paid for domain hosting, a. co.uk domain, and a. Com domain. Web-mania setup the hosting and the. co.uk domain, but didn't purchase the. Com. After weeks of complaining we had to use a different hosting company to purchase the. Com domain and new hosting.
Web-mania have kept the money and do not respond to emails. We are still trying to get our. co.uk domain from them, and have informed Nominet.
Please learn from our mistake. There are plenty of other cheap hosting providers out there.
