My account was closed and I no longer have access to any of my previous transactions. I cannot even log into the site. I spent 40 minutes on hold and the operator finally confirmed, yes we closed your account. No we won't tell you why. No, you have no path to appeal, and is there anything else I can "help" you with today?
Tip for consumers:
After using this site for a year, my access was cut off without explanation.

Money transfer
Used WR to make simple payment to Ghana from U. K. of £40. They ended up making two payments ten minutes apart. I have cancelled and shall see how long refund will take.
WARNING - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I SENT A $500. THEY HAVE STATED THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO PROCESS AND HAVE NOT/DO NOT KNOW WHEN THEY WILL BE RETURNING MY MONEY TO ME! This is completely unbelievable and I just want to warn people now. World Remit asked personal information that had nothing to do with a money transfer, and I did not want it in their hands. Today I received a email saying that they are unable to process the money transfer. I have given this company to find my funds and get them back in to my account or I will be taking legal action and also contacting the Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission. BEWARE!
