On hold all day waiting to change a nights accomodation weeks in advance. Website sends you to the app app sends you to the website. Left messages to call me back and sent email no communication. Call the following day presses the button to be put on hold an hour and a half. Lady from the Philippines answers laughter in the background roosters crowing took so long I'd cooked my dinner washed up and mopped the floor. Then before completion she hung up on me. I ring her back pressed the wait an hour and a half for the call back. Spoke to the same lady told her i'd Be making a complaint about the time poor customer service and hanging up on me after I'd already told her the trouble I'd had trying to get someone to answer me. Moral of the story don't ever bother with WOTIF. Since this happened I've started to read other people's experienes and it appears to be a common issue with WOTIF they don't care just want your money go elsewhere vote with your feet you'd think with Covid and reduced travel they'd at least value their customers

Always use WOTIF.COM, no issues, simple and easy to use. Totally recommend wotif for bookings. Remember to have enough money to pay for accommodation when booking though as full payment is required.

Their search function and customer service are horrible, within a few minutes of realizing I booked the wrong hotel I thought was in Torquay, VIC 2 months ahead my email confirmation showed a hotel in Queensland, and within 5 minutes from the booking and contacting them of the error they said they couldn't do anything about it and you need to pay cancellation penalties and deducted 1/2 the booking value on my credit card! Seriously after 5 minutes of them being notified about the error on their side! After I followed them up with an email complaint, they emailed me back and advised they are entitled to deduct up to 100% of the booking fee, seriously 100% of the booking fee after they been advised 5 minutes after an error their side! I will never use them again.
