I was a member of this site and sent a lot of emails to female members. 99% of the replies I received and 100% of the first-time contact emails I received were from fictitious profiles that are administered by employees of the website, who are paid to initiate contact with the male membership to keep them interested. To their credit, they say in the terms & conditions that any profile with a tiny "oc" logo in the top right corner is fictitious, and for "entertainment purposes only". "oc" stands for online cupid, and they go on to fully explain that they aren't real profiles, but employees of the company. Personally, I think they use real people's abandoned profiles for this purpose, because another "condition" is that once your photos are submitted, they can be published for any purpose by the website or any of the company's other websites. It definitely pays to read the "fine print" if you suspect a website to be fraudulent. Don't waste your time with this one if you're trying to meet "real" people who don't misrepresent themselves as someone else.
