Zeta owns Disqus, a comment management software and database that they apparently abandoned to a hysterical gay dude to manage. They capriciously damage or delete users accounts, and their software is specifically designed to shadow ban randomly used words or topics. I don't know how they survive, since freeware is better.

Zeta Global purchased Disqus in late 2017. One of the promises Zeta Global made was to deal with "toxic hate speech".
Minimum efforts have been made to keep that promise until recently. Over the last 2 weeks the Disqus chat platform has "nuked" several channels and user accounts. Oddly none of those channels or accounts have belonged to any Disqus users who are friends with Disqus employees even though those users and their channels are the ones that have the most complaints all over the Internet for "toxic hate speech"
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
