I tried to order a pillow and blanket in the New Frances Valentine collection after receiving their new catalogue. On the back it says there is a 15% "Happy Shopping" discount but when I placed the order it did not accept the discount so I called. A very rude customer service person sent me an email with all of their exemptions, which are most of the items in the catalogue! She said a manager would call me but no one ever tried. So I tried to order this week and now the pillow is out of stock. I tried customer service again and guess what? You leave your number ( I stayed on the line for awhile and gave up) but so far, hours later no call back.
My experience is that they indeed have terrible customer service and don't honor their offered discount which is a dishonest "lead in" to get you to buy! This was once upon a time "illegal" but with e commerce and no oversight I guess the company can get away with this. So disappointing and frustrating, not to mention a waste of time!
