I placed an order for a braided wig from https://dwigshop.com.ng/ on April 3,2024, with the hope of receiving a quality product and excellent customer service. However, my experience quickly took a turn for the worse when I reached out to the seller on her Instagram *******@dwigshopng to inquire about customizing my order and ask some general questions.
The first red flag that caught my attention was the absence of an order confirmation email following my purchase. This oversight raised concerns about the seller's professionalism and attention to detail right from the start.
To my dismay, the seller's response to my inquiries was not only unhelpful but also extremely rude and sketchy. Feeling unsettled by this interaction, I decided to dig deeper into the seller's reputation, only to discover a plethora of negative reviews detailing similar experiences of rude customer service and even instances of scamming.
The combination of these alarming findings and the disrespectful treatment I personally received from the seller left me feeling uneasy about proceeding with my order. As a result, on April 8,2024, I reached out to the seller to request a cancellation of my order. However, instead of accommodating my request, the seller adamantly refused to cancel the order directly.
Determined to disassociate myself from such unprofessional behavior, I informed the seller that I would be cancelling the order through PayPal. In response, the seller's demeanor quickly shifted to one of aggression and insults, as she launched into a rude tirade, demonstrating a complete lack of respect and professionalism.
Adding to the distress, the seller resorted to sending me videos and messages through "vanish mode," a feature that makes images, videos, and messages disappear as soon as they are viewed by the other party. This cowardly act of hurling insults in a temporary medium further solidified my decision to cancel the order, as it highlighted the seller's lack of integrity and maturity in handling customer concerns.
Considering this regrettable experience, I firmly believe that cancelling my order was the only right course of action. No customer should be subjected to such disrespectful treatment, especially after investing a significant amount of $596.64, with the expectation of receiving quality service and products.
