Quality, reliability, options, fair pricing. And... I find pieces for our home that work and that we like and use!
I find Houzz to be a really reliable website. The do what they say they are going to do w/ regard to shipping, timing and returns. All are also quite timely and easy to navigate. I have found the affiliated companies we have purchased from of similar calibre. So I value Houzz because they have a history of doing an excellent job vetting other companies with whom they work. Also I value the selection and search options provided on the site, the "favorite save" options, easy navigation of these. Houzz is becoming a Houzzhold word! Hehehe.

Houzz is now officially my first "go to" for any home accessories and furnishings. Reliable, honest, helpful, fluid customer-seller communications, and so far "no buyer's remorse" experienced. Thank you!
Admittedly I bought a similar item off Amazon, but it arrived defective and ill-prepared (drilling spots were misplaced). So I sent the first one back to have it replaced. It was. But they sent the same model with the same preparation defects. So... HOUZZ! HELPED!:-)
There is security in ordering from Houzz. You know you are getting good quality items, at reasonable, fair prices from reputable suppliers and manufacturers. There's a peace of mind in paying a bit more (& not much) for the added customer service you receive. Also the search engine is GREAT. Though you have to watch the "sponsored" items interjected at times.
