Carbonite worked slowly for us - support was not great either. This was our experience and we tried to cancel and that was challenging/impossible to get reimbursed for future years we would not use.
Tip for consumers:
don't sign up for 3 years! and test it out to see if you can open files easily. It was very challenging for us and ending up canceling - but not soon enough.
