I ordered a standing spray arrangement of flowers for my friend's funeral yesterday. It was to be delivered today by 4PM. It was delivered in time, but when I called the funeral home to confirm the delivery I was informed the lillies in the arrangement were wilted and brown edged, and the arrangement looked bad. I immediately called From you Flowers, and of course they apologized. They wanted to give me a 20% discount, which was unacceptable, as I wanted a proper looking arrangement to be delivered by the 4PM deadline. A funeral only happens once! There were more than two hours, but they could not get that done. I called another florist on the other line, and they arranged to get one there. From You Flowers then offered me a 30% discount, which I said was unacceptable since this arrangement wasn't going to be used. Finally after a few delays of waiting time I was offered as I demanded a full refund to my credit card. And they did call the funeral home to confirm the condition of the flower arrangement. I ended up having to pay almost double to get another florist to make an arrangement and have it delivered in that couple hours. From You Flowers sent me a $20 gift certificate to use on their site (even though my additional cost was $70). The company representative stated they would monitor the quality of flowers coming from that particular florist.
