I ordered a dress from Ego which ended up being too small and had to send back. I then received an email nearly 2 weeks later saying that I would not be getting a refund and they had disposed of my dress as there was apparently hair and makeup on the dress and it was unfit for resale.
The image they provided not only showed that there was no makeup on the dress AT ALL but also showed a singular piece of hair on the dress, which was blonde and I have brown hair.
Not only have they disposed of my dress without getting in contact with me first, but they are also refusing a refund or exchange or sending my dress back to me because of a singular strand of hair on the dress, which deems the dress unfit for resale apparently.
I have emailed endless times, and their only response was for me to read their FAQ's, and now I am being ignored entirely. Both out of pocket and without my dress.
I am extremely upset by this matter because due to the cost of living situation ad it being a week before Christmas I could have sold my dress on myself for some money if they weren't to accept my return but instead they have destroyed my belongings.
