If you fit the right profile... Tanya will take your passport, take your money for the "visa", do absolutely nothing, and let you end up on overstay. She did it to me. Once you're on overstay, she's free and clear, and you'll be the bad guy or girl until you're out of Thailand. This scam has been done by other travel agencies too. This needs to be stopped.
Tip for consumers:
MAKE SURE your visa isn't ready to expire if you have to use a travel agency for a visa. At least do a visa run first to get a full 30 days. Borders aren't closed anymore. And get a police report before your visa expires if you can't get your passport back.
