“Bitterly disappointed in Bloomex AU”

I Ordered & paid for birthday flowers via phone on 12/3/24 to be delivered on 13/3/24. I was verbally assured that the flowers would be delivered the next day 13/3/24. Bloomex rang me on 13/3/24 to say the flowers won't be delivered until Thursday14/3/23. Needless to say the flowers didn't arrived until Friday 15/3 and they certainly were the flowers I saw online, prior to purchasing. The actual flowers they delivered looked like the cheap flowers you get would buy from Woolies. Nothing against Woolies flowers but I live at 10hrs away from the intended recipient & needed to rely on a florist courier service. Never again would I use Bloomex. I've included before and after pics of flowers I thought I was purchasing to what was actually delivered.

Tip for consumers:
Honesty is the best policy. Their policy states there’s no guarantee that the flowers will delivered on time. However it is not what their customer service officer tells the customer. They’re very confident to tell you over the phone that ‘Yes’ ma’am the flowers will be delivered the next day. It will leave our warehouse in Sydney and be delivered (to a little town called HentyNSW/VIC approx 6-10hrs from Sydney. I didn’t get those details until after they took my credit card details.
