I have never contacted this company, but it has been texting me every day for weeks. I have reported it to my phone carrier Multiple times and have blocked the numbers they are using to text me but apparently have some program that lets them know that I have deleted their text. I am tired of this harassment. I don't know what people or companies think they are going to accomplish by inundating people with spam texts. Do they get something from it if you contact them? I'm not going to do it. If this is a legitimate company I certainly would never use it and I hope nobody else does if this is their business practice. I would like to rate this company at zero but it won't let me so I will rate it at one.

Not one, but two Bissell carpet cleaners didn't work and Bissell wouldn't refund my money. I bought an inexpensive Bissell carpet cleaner through Amazon. Because I was taking care of my invalid mother, I did not open the package until after Amazon's return window had closed. The machine did not work. I contacted Bissell and they said they would replace the machine and sent another inexpensive machine to me, and not only did it not work, it left a streak of dirty water and some sort of rubber on my carpet. I contacted Bissell again and asked for my money back. They refused. They said they would give me credit off of a more expensive machine, but I would have had to spend a considerable amount of money to get the equivalent discount off of the purchase price. They offered another inexpensive machine to be sent to me, or I could return the machine to them with documentation proving that it had damaged my carpet and they would consider if I had a claim. After months of emails back-and-forth to Bissell and since I didn't have any faith this would go positively for me I refused. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they contacted Bissell immediately, and Bissell offered me the exact same options that they previously offered me. I refused them again and the Better Business Bureau closed the matter. Bissell's excuse for not refunding my original $100 was that I did not buy the machine from them. Since they made the machine I would think they would stand behind it. They will not.

I don't think Deal Dash is a fair site at all. Here's are 2 recent "wins" - an Apple iPad sold for $250.41 (the value is $641) - that means Deal Dash sold this item for $4,256.97 and a Keurig Coffee System valued at $233 was "won" for $125 which is $2,125 to Deal Dash. Sure a lot of people "win" with just using a few bids - but I think they let you win something small to begin with to get you sucked in. When I first tried Deal Dash I won a $10 gift card right away for practically nothing and I thought THIS IS GREAT. But - If you look at the "winnings" people have had at first it looks good - maybe they won something for $10 - but when you break it down the bids cost anywhere up to 17 cents each -so every dollar you have bid on an item is actually $17 out of your pocket. You bid $10 on something it is actually $170. There are so many people bidding that you can easily put a lot of money into an item and you think you have a chance and then after several hundred bids a new group comes in. They have what they call "no jumpers" where people cannot come in after $5 worth of bids - but you must realize that is 500 bids which is actually $85. They should stop people coming in to bid after $1.00 which would be much fairer to the customer. I have spend hundreds of dollars at Deal Dash - and most of the items I "won" I had to get at the buy it now option which saved me NOTHING - the items are the same price at Best Buy or Amazon. Once I bid on a Rosetta Stone that I "won" and then realized it was considerably lower at Best Buy. They did adjust that finally, but you have to think - are most of their items overpriced? If you are considering this risky game - you need to research the price of the item you are bidding on - and be prepared to pay that price when you don't win. Take a look at the recent winners page and see the hot items are "won" for sometimes 10x what they actually cost. I have asked repeatedly for a refund of the remaining 330 bids I have in my account but Deal Dash refuses saying "the bids in your account were received through buy it now purchases, and are not eligible for refund". That is nonsense - I bought bids to begin with - I couldn't have bid on items if I hadn't bought them. This amounts to $56.10. Here's my warning to potential customers - BE PREPARED TO LOSE MONEY - OR BE PREPARED TO PAY FULL PRICE FOR THE ITEM. Take a look at the comments bidders make - you will see a lot of people are not happy. The good thing about social media - I can post on Facebook and other sites about Deal Dash and THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE will see it. I will keep on until they do the right thing and refund my money.

DealDash -. – DealDash Rep

Hi Barbara,

We are sorry to hear you don’t think we are a fair site. The auctions are very unpredictable so it’s possible for the same item to sell one day at a very low price and the next day at a higher price - it just depends on how many people are bidding in the auction that day. Also, it’s worth noting that the majority of people who don’t win use the Buy it Now to get their bids back. This means we don’t keep the bids and therefore don’t make the amount of money as you listed in your examples. We are however a business which strives make a profit in order to exist so that we may continue to provide numerous opportunities for people to have a fun shopping experience and get a good deal.

We do provide everyone with a full money back guarantee on their first purchase within 90 days and every auction has the Buy it Now option to get bids back to try again. Other bids however are not refundable after they have been used or recycled through the Buy it Now system.

With the way our current auctions work there can only be one winner per auction. Therefore, we recommend people to bid on items they are prepared to buy in case they don’t win. As you know by doing this you can get back the bids used in that auction.

We are very happy to help answer any questions you may have regarding our service so please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Sincerely, David
