It would be a MINUS star, if allowed... Their actual storefront is in el cerrito, california.

I visited them about four years ago. They have not changed their ways. They remain rude, opaque, dishonest, and evasive, misleading in their advertising and
Business practices.

I called them recently to see if their policies had changed. They did not want to discuss the matter, or their policies.

Only after you have paid $200+/hour, and the clock has started running, do they reveal the house rules, which are somewhat different from their web pages strong inferences, and evasive information regarding the details.

No sex is expected or given of course, That is the only SPECIFIC unambiguous
Statement on their site. No clients really expect s... e... x... they expect S-M
Fantasies to be played out...

Aside from that, the ladies are unaware of even the most basic male anatomy. Even though there is no skin-to-skin contact, male orgasms are strongly discouraged, and condoms are mandatory. Women may enjoy all the
Orgasms they like, of course. They are unapologetically discriminatory in this regard.

There is no "after-care", nor any follow-up, not even a nod to that concept,
Which is widespread in the kink community... and they prefer to have NO followup communication of any sort with their male visitors.

In a nutshell:

Misleading Advertising

Serious, unpleasant ladies W/O A SENSE OF HUMOR

Unprofessional and uninformed staff
No concept of "after-care"
No desire to communicate with apologetic visitors.

Short-changed playtimes - about 45 minutes - or longer - per hour paid.

They ARE a business contrary to their web pages and will usher you out if you can only afford $100/hr or less, (or probably, anythong less than $175/hour)

There is no privacy, your name and Driver's License info is recorded. Including your picture - BEFOREHAND. Cash only is accepted.

They do not have any public blogs or forums, esp. On the largest related site: Fetlife. They most definitely do not want any public discussion of their business
Practices. They are 180 degrees apart, on any level, from their larger, very professional competitors in San Francisco: The Citadel, and Kink.com.

ALL of their competitors in the SF Bay area are in a different league, and 100% professional, give extremely good value, AND ALL THE OTHERS IN THEIR TYPE OF ENTERTAINMENT ALL HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR.

This "review" is a vendetta by a fellow who started out calling himself "Sidney" and was unpleasant enough to be asked not to come back. If you're curious, check out his review on the Ripoff Report -- his style is a dead giveaway. There's a rebuttal to it there as well.

This gent gives Pinocchio competition for fabrication... if he keeps posting reviews, we'll be able to use his nose as the stringer for a stairway to the stars. He claimed to be exploring S and M, and so he is, but he believes it stands for Spite and Malice.

If his review is the first you ever saw about the Fantasy Makers, I'm sorry. We've been around for 24 years, and thousands of visitors have returned again and again. If you want to see for yourself, I invite you to visit our site, Fantasymakers.com, check out our FetLife and Tumblr pages (links on our home page) and visit if we seem like your kind of folks. Promise -- we won't ask you for ID unless you look like a 14-year-old, we won't mess with you, and we'll try to make sure you have fun. Rules -- you must be over 18, make (and keep) an appointment, and treat other people with the respect you'd want for yourself. Thanks for listening.

In its heyday, it was a charming community, and attracted several celebrities
In their "day jobs" -- who kept their identities secret n the net. However,
More to the point, it was much larger and varied and free-wheeling than now.
Like several sites, the quirky and egomaniacal sysadmins killed it. Especially since they displayed their own art, and reacted viciously, to honest crits. Over time, one very good artist after another left, until there was... little... and still no recognition by the admins that they just_might_ have had some effect on
The site's downhill slide... I was there for well over a decade, and saw many wonderful things. It never had the millions of comic art fans in their teens that defines deviantart, just small coteries of friends who enjoyed each other's art
And commented accordingly.
