Sent wrong size and would not give a cash refund just a store credit voucher. Fat chance of using it if you live in the uk and they are based in California!
By the time you pay customs and delivery charges the original advertised price has nearly doubled. They send you an item anyway even if it is the wrong size and out of date model. The worst online company I have ever dealt with.
Ancestry begin another ripoff today. They offer a 14 free trial but you must give your bank details before you can start the 'free' trial'. Under no circumstances do this as they will start taking payments from your account whether you cancel the free trial or not. They will continue taking funds even if you do manage to get through to customer service and cancel. This company is an out and out fraud they are based in Dublin and I cannot understand why the Irish police have not arrested the directors before now.
This Archive.com scam is operated by Ancestry.com. Sir John Rogerson Quay. Dublin Ireland.
What ever they say they are the same conmen/women who operate both companies. I thought I had cancelled my subscription 12 months ago but on going through my statements I discovered to my dismay they are still taking £8.95 monthly payments from my account.
I believe my bank must be partly responsible for allowing this to happen and I will be taking it up with them today.
