I purchased a mobile phone on 06 Feb 2018. A week later I got an email saying that the phone has been shipped, and a tracking number was provided. I have been checking the status of the shipment regularly, but no progress has been recorded. After two (2!) months I complained to Banggood that I have not received my order and no updates have been provided. Their response was that I need to wait 60 days before the parcel is considered lost.
Sixty days after placing my order I contacted Banggood again. Their customer service asked me to go to my post office and file a complaint for a lost package. Bear in mind that my package has never been handed to GLS, the couriers which were supposed to deliver it. I forwarded that to Banggood. A couple of days later a new email came in, again asking me to go to the post office. How ridiculous is that? It appears they have boilerplate emails which they send to all customers. I had to elevate the issue to PayPal. As of today, 78 days after placing my order, I have not received my money back.
Banggood are very happy to take your money immediately after purchasing, but when something goes wrong they do everything in their power to not reimburse you. I have paid for special delivery via European Direct Mail and insurance, and yet I can't get my money back. If you are considering buying something from BG, think twice. I have not seen any e-seller using their tactics.
Dear Bobby B.,
