For example, a customer had a domain name on this registar. I tried to transfer for them, but they say it is locked (it isn't). What eventually worked is LOCKING the domain name, then UNLOCKING it again. Why? Who knows. Complete mystery, just like everything else.
Worse, in the past a customer wanted to pay to renew it (b/c transferring away from OnlineNIC is like pulling teeth)... but to pay, you have to add money, to add money you have to give them your credit card information at least one day beforehand. Seriously... what?
Luckily, it wasn't down to the wire, or customer would have lost that domain name... and may still b/c OnlineNIC is a dumpster fire.
