My friend needed his spa heater fixed and made the mistake of calling this company. He explained to the owner over the phone that his spa heater had a lit pilot; however it was not turning on. He told the owner he felt the switch on the unit was probably bad. The companies owner told him it would be an $89.00 dollar service fee and diagnosis plus parts and labor. My buddy said he'd think about it and ended the call. The next day the company called him back and said they were in the neighborhood and could come out. He agreed to let the come. Here's where it gets good...

The Techs arrive at 7:30pm (very late) and in 15 minutes they determined its the switch, ( one that literally unscrews and screws back in) They told him it would cost $425.00 dollars. He questioned the cost, and they told him it was that expensive and that there was very little markup on it. He paid by check and the whole incident was over in 20 minutes. The next day he found the part online for $49.00 dollars. So do the math $89.00 service diagnosis plus $49.00 dollar part. $138.00. He was charged $287.00 dollars to screw it in. He found out the company carries an "F" rating from BBB. I highly recommend not to call or use them, and if by chance you make the mistake as he did and they call back, don't answer the phone.
