Booked a stay for my wife, baby and a family friend. Arrived at our place and couldn't get a hold of the host, but proceeded to follow the check in instructions. Keys were missing from the property so i called the host. They picked up after a few rings and hung up. I called back 10 times with no response. Called agora customer support which after an hour (and at this point a screaming baby) offered to cancel my reservation. 20 business days on the refund. Thanks agoda!
I ended booking a place that was 50% more expensive out of desperation.
To add insult to injury, i wrote back later insisting on writing a negative review for the property that same day no showed me, since they were a 9/10 listing.
They informed me that only people with a successfully completed stay can write reviews…welp i guess i don't qualify.
