I signed up for pet sitter.com after reviewing the process online. I believe the title was what is the best pet sitting site. They gave the difference between Rover and petsitter.com.
I wish I would have checked the reviews instead of which site would be the best.
I paid for my subscription and I went online to find that there were no current jobs. Everything was a week or older. I actually applied for a couple that were over a week old assuming that if they were still on the site that they may still be looking for someone.
Of course no one responded. Everyday I would see jobs on indeed for pet sitters. When you click on the link you get an error message because you cannot directly contact the employer. I would go back to pet sitter and you wouldn't see a job there.
Total scam. I'm ashamed to say I got taken. I should have checked further.
I suggest if you've been smart enough to look at the reviews first, that you take it to heart. Sometimes I will give someone a chance when I see bad reviews because I know perception weighs into a review.
However, when everybody is giving them a one that should send alarm bells. I would give it a zero if I could.
