Update! I did pursue this business in small claims and won the judgement! This breeder has sold non purebred mikis, does not DNA test before breeding or selling and is NOT registered with any reputable Miki registries. Beware! Beware! Beware! Get your "mikis" from angelic mikis and cavaliers DNA tested folks!

Update from previous review. NO RESOLUTION!

PREVIOUS REVIEW:
Seller sold us a non purebred puppy that is not 100% Miki (which is the breed). We recently had DNA blood work done to confirm the breed and we received a mix breed puppy. Please see the attachments from our vet DNA blood work that was done, and also the vet naming her breed as "mixed". The second picture shows our dogs DNA family tree stating that her father was also a mixed breed. This company claims to sell " mikis that have championship lines that are true to the miki standard. " when in fact what we received is not a Miki but a mixed breed. The seller offered to take the dog back to resolve the issue but we are requesting less than half of the cost we paid as they are in Kansas and i am in Virginia so there is no way to "return" the dog. The total paid was $2225. 25 ($500 was a deposit made on a separate transaction) Which they did state the deposit was non refundable but we have requested a partial refund due to misconstrued information and not receiving a 100% miki puppy which is what they claimed to sell. If the sell said we are selling mixed breed that includes miki breed, that would be a different story." The seller has not replied to our email so now we will be seeking legal advise as well as advise from the Amercian miki registry. Stone ridge mikis, angelic mikis whatever the owner Teresa clams as her business name also failed state inspections in the state of Kansas, check out the link. https://www.thisdogslife.co/the-horrible-hundred-report-released-to-shine-light-on-worst-puppy-mills/ This woman is a mastermind con-artist as we have learned from other local breeders that have purchased from her and know of her registry history. This is my honest 100% true review.

Just wanted to update my previous review. I have reached out to the BBB and Teresa Osborn of Stoneridge Mikis did agree to provide me with a $1000 partial refund. After going back and forth with her, she decided to change her offer now saying I need to remove all of the reviews I have posted online then she will provide the $1000 refund. I have told her that my honest, truthful experience and reviews with her and her company will not be taken down. A second BBB complaint has now been open and I have sent her multiple emails with no response. Here is a previous response from Teresa Osborn, " If you wanted a dog from a different registry, you should have bought one. If DNA on the parents was important to you, you should have asked and bought one that came from parents who had been DNA'd. DNA is not a requirement for some registries and it would have saved us both a lot of hassle if you had simply asked about it if it was that important to you. I had no idea that the dog I purchased from another breeder was not pure-he came from two registered parents. I am betting the breeder that I got him from did not know either. I will be taking this up with her once we have reached a resolution. The sire has been pulled from our breeding program and will not be used for breeding again now that I am aware of his DNA as we are honest and ethical when dealing with our families. I will be addressing this with his breeder, but vow not to treat her like you are treating us as I am betting she was not aware either and someone has taken advantage of her as well." Then another statement from Teresa Osborn trying to manipulate the definitions of our original agreement. The original contract I signed was for a MIKI, now she's saying her contract doesn't cover DNA guarantee. " What you do at this point is up to you. You have two very generous offers if you truly want to resolve this. You will never prove deceptive sales as there was none. You signed a contract that states "I, the undersigned, agree to adhere to the terms and conditions stated above. It is further agreed that no additional guarantee has been made with respect to this dog other than the one set forth in writing in this sales contract." That means there was no guarantee of DNA. "

Tip for consumers:
Ask for DNA testing to me done on mother, father and puppy you purchase.
