I had only planned to use the service for one month. Made a reminder on my phone to cancel before it renewed. Of course, you can't cancel online, they intentionally make it difficult for you to cancel. Your options to cancel include sitting on a phone call for who knows how long or send an email. I opted to send an email. Got a reply quickly confirming my cancellation. That was August 2021. I didn't realize these people had continued to bill me for 16 more months. With the sheer number of subscription services it's quite easy to lose track of them all. And of course this is what they are banking on. Literally. But it's theft. Plain and simple. So I write them, thinking I'm going to get a refund, of course, it's clearly an error on their part and they hoped I'd just continue to overlook their error forever. I provided them with the email that showed proof/confirmation I cancelled over a year ago. They respond with "we have no record of your request to cancel." I provided them with proof of THEIR CONFIRMATION but now suddenly they have no record, but I just showed them their record, so how can they have no record? So they chose to deny the evidence that I provided them instead, how is this a legit business practice? They proceed to tell me they will only refund me $97.28 even though they owe me $389.12. Here's another kicker, I get an email receipt of their "refund" and they refunded me $24.62 not even the amount they said they were going to do. I can't even make this up that's how ridiculous it is. They lie about the amounts, they lie about record keeping and then ignore your requests to refund you in full. I still have not received my refund from them. They are still trying to wear me down. They count on people to give up. They make money on people giving up. They will not remove my credit card from their site, they won't allow you to either. RUN. RUN. RUN from this company. Report them, not only to sites like this and the Better Business Bureau, but to your State Attorney General, file a complaint for Deceptive Trade Practice. Then file a complaint with the FTC for fraud, because these people are indeed FRAUDS. Everyone who experiences this with subscriptions services that are impossible to cancel, need to do this to get legislation drafted so consumers aren't being financially exploited like this anymore. It's becoming rampant. Do your part to help stop deceptive trade practices.
