Found a great dentist, Dentists of Hollywood, I thought! I had an estimate done for $6800.00 which I paid.
After half of the work was done, they hit me with an additional $1800.00 for this work. I had paid for a tooth implant. They did not quote me the cap that was to go on that implant until I went in to get it. I had two other teeth pulled planning to do the same thing. Guess what? They did not quote me the caps for those either. They told me it was because they did not think I would get the cap put on in the same year! Why would you not include something as important as this on your estimate even if I wasn't getting it for 10 years? It's still part of the job to be done. She said the price would be wrong if she quoted it. Apparently they planned on increasing their prices every year. Even with that you should still mention it in your estimate and say that the price could go up! Now I had two teeth pulled and have a big gap in my mouth that I thought was paid for and am finding out I will owe $3600.00 more. Beware when getting an estimate on work to be done on your teeth. This has been a very disappointing and expensive mistake on their part that I am having to pay for.
