I purchased and Ultra guard or Ultra Shield from this company. After 5 years, the cover started to rip on the side that had been exposed to the most UV rays. When I try to make small adjustments to the cover by pulling it on that side, the fabric would rip spontaneously. Bear in mind this was the side that was always exposed to direct sunlight for three Summers. After submitting my warranty claim to carcovers.com I was informed that they do not warranty rips in their fabric.
Tip for consumers:
I can't believe they don't cover rips in there covers. Seal skin says that they cover rips. Seal skin is a competitor of carcovers.com
