I received a text message on my cell phone today with the news that there are mystery shopper jobs in my area, And that I can make up to $50.00 an hour. I can do that :) I called the number left in the message and got a recording and then a fast talking representative. The more questions I asked, the more the rep stumbled off her phone script and started talking to someone on her end of the line (supervisor, probably). I asked the name of the company and she said "United Health & Life". I looked it up on the Internet while we were talking. I said to the Rep: "That's an insurance company, right?" She said "Yes.". I said an insurance company offers a mystery shopping program?" More talking in the background. Then the Rep said, "I'll give you our Website and you can learn more about the program". The Site is extramoneyzone.com. I look it up and sure enough, it's a subscription you pay to look for mystery shopping jobs in your area.

Stay far away for this group... they're a total rip off.

(I wonder how they got my cell number in order to text me to begin with?) In any event, her's a link to get your home or mobile phone on the "Do Not Call Registry"... https://www.donotcall.gov/
