I ordered a system at the end of January direct from their website. $139.99. I got the system &out of the box it started talking about some remote alarm,& siren would sound every 20 sec or so. Called customer support wasted 3 hours trying to fix this issue ( I have 2 other systems mind you) so she tells me return or send out another panel. I returned because after wasting halfy day on phone with customer support I was furious! Furious because I believe this item was a return & being sold as NEW! It had a LPN sticker on the back over the original barcode.( See photos) I told customer service this. She told me that is a AMAZON thing to contact them. I purchased from the FORTRESS website. Amazon had nothing to do with it. So anyways. I returned paid like $13 in shipping fees to return then they charged me a restock fee! A restock fee for a NON WORKING, ALREADY RETURNED ITEM ONCE ALREADY! Sold to me.as NEW! ( If was not a return it would not have the LPN code over real barcode) I'll not do business here again. Pretty sorry I'm my book. This unit didn't seem as well made as the other anyways. Felt cheaply made. Disappointed in Fortress for the restock fee, wasting hours with customer service doing everything she asked, & trying to pass off a RETURNED unit as new! Be very careful dealing with these guys. Not what they use to be obviously...
