Made contact with this company on an out of state move and was literally promised everything I was looking for and prepared to pay OVER what was quoted as long as things would be moved with care. Was lied to over and over by the sleazy rep J*** W******* and then followup with a couple of 'customer service reps' and no joke EVERYTHING WAS A LIE. This company is a BROKER, you pay them and then they find you the worst and cheapest 'movers' out there... Literally was promised "we do not hire Home Depot guys from the parking lot" (their words) and "you will get the best VIP service" (again, their words)
This never happened. They are super eager to take that ACH deposit 'to hold your spot' BECAUSE you cannot cancel it. Literally day one, two guys show up in an unmarked truck and tell me they have ZERO MOVING EXPERIENCE... I call the company and naturally... radio silent. You are up against the clock with other arrangements you make and find yourself 'bargaining' with the dispatched company standing in your driveway only because you have no choice but to try and make a horrible situation work out. First Rate Van Lines is under serious fraud allegations in the state of Florida and after having conversations with the office of the Attorney General, I wait it out and see how long it takes for yet another one these fraudsters gets shut down. Do not use this company... all they want if the deposit you make and then 'poof, they are gone.' READ THE REVIEWS... they are real and don't let JW talk you into "we made some mistakes, give us a chance."

This company takes ZERO responsibility for your things...They don't care. They lie about EVERYTHING. I was prepared for the bill to double, even triple for what I was quoted with the clear understanding 'they would pack my things into a truck, drive it to a new location and unload it' PERIOD...Instead, they had a small truck, packed some of my things, DUMPED it into a couple of warehouses IN A PILE, moved it a few more times and naturally the results are scratched furniture, damaged items and 22 pieces (boxes and furniture) being completely LOST...There was not one item that was either not dirty or damaged...you can tell (and after talking to a few of the crew) They have such high turnover and poor management that the crews just want the pay for the day and could care less about your things. STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY...Follow up and check with 'ratings' and DOT recommendations and you will see...THEY ARE HORRIBLE... They did thousands of dollars of damage to one of my homes and they 'very shady' insurance company they use (CSI) said things like that are not covered when I have video of them trying to push furniture through doors and busting up doorframes and wood. The entire process was and will remain a lesson learned...THEY JUST LIE ABOUT EVERYTHING!
