My partner and I ordered two £1,200 phones yesterday from Apple, we were both promised a delivery date of today, my partners phone is due today following several confirmation emails, I hadn't received any notifications so knew something was wrong, only after chasing Apple did I find out the phone wasn't going to arrive today, I could have quite easily spent all day waiting for a delivery that they knew was never going to get here, maybe if the CEO spent more time concentrating on his companies failing customer services rather than buying super yachts he may have a better business. Forget the business aspect, its just a horrible way to treat other people
