Just recvd the letter of denial of loan. Very concerning of their conclusions and practices.
One point was completely untrue.
"Derogatory public information related to lawsuit with tenant and former financial institution."
Our company has NEVER had legal action regarding
1. Any past or current tenant
2. Any past or current financial institution.

I find it extremely concerning that their underwriter will not pay attention, use, the information that is on the very application provided, and ask again for the same information. Yet, they make unfounded conclusions, take as gospel, information from public sites, but ask for no clarification, explanations.

Their secondary reason, "Insufficient experience, and liquidity".
This Women Owned Business has over 8 years of real property management. I am not sure how many years is required to be considered "experienced"
As for liquidity, the funds are available, and were on deposit last week. Most times in past financing institutions would ask for proof of funds. Again, CBS asks for information clearly stated on the application but then would NOT ask for clarification of what is wanting on the application.

Obviously CBS prerogative but rightly or wrongly appears that CBS approves on a Guilty until proven Innocent, only seeking No Risk loans. Certainly not a company could recommend for fellow WBE, small business owners for the above stated reasons.

With literally 100s of CONFIRMED appointments to interview candidates. Less than 8 actually show for the interview, with not one call, communication letting us know.

This is a numbers game for them, through it on the wall and see what sticks. There response has been little more than "well you pretty much have to baby sit them to get them to show up"!? Even if they confirmed just an hour ago? Do I have to go pick them up, wipe their nose, give them a Blankey? Wow, seriously? What great candidates we want to add to our team.

As an small Biz employer I waste more time/$ using Indeed than random calls. Lastly, they give employers a way to rate these candidates therefore they just pass the unfit candidate from one employer to the next, racking up the clicks/$$ so clearly are ENABLERS that provide and encourage this behavior.
