I purchased a pool alarm from swimmingpooletc! It took 5 weeks or chasing for it to finally arrive! When it arrived it was in a crumpled/dented/ripped box, it didn't have sufficient packaging for a $500 alarm system, I was appalled! I sent them an e-mail as they don't accept phone calls, explaining that I didn't have any faith that the alarm would work as it wasn't packaged properly, the box was all ripped and someone had had to sellotape part of the box, it was dented etc, I asked for a full refund. A courier arrived to collect the defunct alarm and we expected to be reimbursed. However, a few days later another alarm arrived, granted it was packaged. I sent them an e-mail asking why they sent another alarm and they said I didn't cancel the order? They went on to tell me if I return the new alarm they would charge me 25% restocking fee x2. I couldn't believe it, I never asked for a second alarm and the first one I wasn't going to take the risk. Better still the owner Jeff went on to ask me via e-mail if it was my time of the month! Yes, incredible! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
