Ordered a 3 carat total weight diamond bridal set (UC **************) Order cost $2702.95. On 11/22/23, FedEx called us and said they were delivering an empty package to our home. Belk had shipped this ring in a white padded bag as opposed to a box. The bag had gotten stuck in a piece of machinery, we still have the bag, and FedEx claims the contents was lost between Memphis and Pittsburgh. All of this was explained to Belk, but they still refuse to issue a refund or provide a replacement shipment of the ring. Every Belk representative says the dollar amount is above their authority and that it would have to go to "corporate" for a decision. I have called Belk every day since 11/23/23. This is horrific customer service. The only mistake we made was purchasing this ring from Belk. Belk's issue is with FedEx not with us as the customer but is punishing us as it appears they don't want to provide a replacement or refund. Per FedEx - Belk has even filed not one, but two claims with FedEx, and still refuses to provide a re-shipment of the ring or a refund to us.
