Purchased (on line) Saint Laurent bag two years ago-not my everyday handbag...clasp to close the bag fell off (used bag about five times total) and I saved magnetic closure piece. I called B.G. And was transferred to Leather Goods, repair dept., Federico. He was wonderful and we agreed $80 to adhere...he said customer service is sending you a shipping label. They sent me a receipt and I told them several times and they sent another "receipt." I called their C.S. And explained and she told me go to Fed Ex with receipt, they'll give you the label...I said, "promise, as it doesn't really work this way." She said, "yes!" I went to Fed Ex (downpour rain) and was told "no way" at FedEx so I called again and another C.S. Agent says "we don't accept bags from two years ago! I said, no, I just need a shipping label and she didn't ask me anything about it, nothing, just NO. I called again (third time) and woman promised to help, never heard from her again...then my account on line about the handbag, disappeared! Saga continues of clueless customer service agents on line and shipping label issues!
It's difficult to deal with their agents over a mere shipping label. It's also none of their business but they want the entire story and when I get to the fixing of the bag, they are so defense and did I say I'm paying for the repair myself. I'm on day four with them...oh they don't know about their leather goods department and Federico. Sigh. I spend much too much time on the phone with them and it's day four so I'm writing this to feel better for sending me on a wild goose chase in the rain with bogus instructions and time on the phone that equals into "nothing, again." Can't recoup time!
