Scammers have found that PayPal is a good way to successfully scam consumers. You order something from an ad you see on the internet, In my case a garden stool/kneeler. You use PayPal to pay for the item. The seller then sends you a package, that they send first class, for less than a dollar, with a tracking number(they sent me a scrap of fabric) from some place in the U.S. When you say you didn't get what you ordered, they produce the tracking number. Then they say if you are not happy to return the worthless item to a place in China and they will give you a refund. Well no sane person, during a pandemic(I am 79) is going to pay for international shipping, knowing one will be cheated further. PayPal, of course, sides with the scammer. It is impossible to communicate with PayPal. Hell will freeze over before I use PayPal again.
