I originally joined NerveDjMixtapes.com for the chance to become a Nerve DJ. Initial sign ups, once accepted granted you the privledge to be a Nerve Dj yourself. The website always seemed to be focused on giving artist and Djs exposure with no favoritism (i think the favoritism falls way side since you're technically all Nerve DJs if you're posting to the site) like I've seen on other mixtape websites. IE theres a section for trending Tapes and singles that revolve on traffic to the tape or single. Yes some other sites do have the same thing. But there are also sections made for endorsed DJs (the DJs who seem to be brining in the most traffic to the site) which makes friendly competition amongst the DJs and makes everyone want to drop the hottest material, so the fans and listeners are always kept with fresh tracks. Another thing I love about the site is that as a nerve DJ you have some of newest DJ packs available to you from both major and indy artist, there are no requirements to use all of them, but there are always tracks available that you want on your mixtapes because they're that good. With those Dj Packs you also receive an email for conference calls where you get to hear, critique and speak to artist both major and indy. The main thing i like about the site revolves around the NERVE MOTTO "Break your Tracks not your Stacks" which owner Dj Johnny O and the Nerve Team hold extremely true to their word. I recently paid a reasonable amount to have an artist Mixtape to be featured on the website, the Tape broke 10k plays, i saw the tape pop on instagram for advertising from various DJs i did not know before but all flew the Nerve Djs Banner and Twitter went crazy with tweets about the tape being on the website by dozens of DJs all with a high follower count at least 3 times a day for what felt like weeks and i later received a weekly email and the tape was amongst other featured tapes in the email. I won't say names of other mixtape sites, but I've used tons of them. I haven't seen any of the site match NerveDjsMixtapes.com when it comes to Maximum Exposure for the price they ask for. They literally Break your tracks, not your stacks.
