The company was unable to fulfill my order. They told me it was in production 3 months ago. After 4 months of waiting they tell me the supplier had it on backorder and had no ETA. Their order terms states:"If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will cancel the pre-authorization and duly inform you via e-mail." They never notified me, I was the one who had to keep inquiring, and now they are saying they will charge me a restocking fee for "cancelling" when they were the ones who couldn't fulfill my order! It's absolutely bonkers. Be careful, apparently they can take years to fulfill an order and keep your money the whole time according to their terms. I would stay away to avoid frustration on their obviously predatory sales.

We rented a nice car at Fiumicino airport, and had used Expedia to pre-pay and book. On arrival to pick up the car at the Europcar counter the clerk asked if I'd like to add my wife to the reservation. I said no, I will be the only one driving. He said there is no charge, it is free, you should add her in case she needs to drive. I asked him to make sure that the additional drive was free, which he again confirmed in plain English and my wife heard him say so twice. We gave him the documents he requested and went on our way. On returning the car they didn't give me a receipt. I found that odd so I asked the clerk for a receipt and waited in line for one. A rude and nasty attendant there then said 80 Euros. We looked at her confused and asked her to clarify. She said we owed her that because of the additional driver we requested. We attempted to explain what had transpired and she kept raising her voice and smirking and laughing about our situation to the other members of the staff. We have never been so disrespected in our lives. We will never be doing business with these people again, and that woman at the Rome airport is just the definition of evil. We hope she is able to sleep ok at night with the way she treats others.

BE AWARE! We just arrived to check into our 5-star hotel, after a long trip, booked and confirmed on their Website, with confirmation email guaranteeing the room, and the hotel said they had no booking for us. The hotel produced a letter they had received from Getaroom saying they were relocating us to a hotel far outside of town because there was no availability. No one from Getaroom ever bothered to tell us that, we were informed by the apologetic hotel staff who received the bizarre letter. If we book a room at a hotel we should have reasonable expectation of being reserved a room at THAT hotel, not one miles from town which we did not choose! And if there are changes to our reservation we would expect to be communicated BEFORE we arrive to check in. They sent that letter to the hotel several days before, but decided to not communicate that to us so we could change our travel plans accordingly, in a show of disrespect and disdain for their customers. What a bunch of no good scammers, completely ruined our trip through Europe. We will never do business with this disreputable and crooked company again. Book through them at your own risk, and don't expect to get a room at the hotel you actually booked for.
