I have been using send my bag.com for nearly 10 years now and the most recent service left a bit of a sour taste. I guess as they grow there these business analysts looking to squeeze every penny and monetise everything g much like how Ryan air do. I get adding feature to increase revenue but asking someone to pay for the bread bun on a burger is a step too far if you get what I mean. First you pay for the plastic sleeves to be delivered- they insinuate that if you don't pay the premium priced sleeves the. You run the risk of loosing your bags…. If this is the service your offering where customer can that readily loose their bag then it should be included. Plus these are probably costed at a few cents or pence so it should not be monetised. Then the service to pick up. Pretty much you book a slot and if they turn up your not home you loose your money. Big window big opportunity to be to slow to get to the door not hear the doorbell be on the toilet. No contact with driver or indication on when they come. No phone number. Ofcourse as I said you can pay more and have the opportunity to have them picked up more times if you pay. Ironically or not depends how you see it the courier in our case is dhl and this pick up service alone would guarantee this option to pick up again if they miss you it's just send my bag.com choice to charge for this. I do t k kw what is DHL's problem as I tried to book the same service through them and they didn't offer to ship my bike at all due to the size even though in the end the whole thing was Organize through them regardless. I just wish I could have gone through them directly…
