My iPhone 13 still won't work with my carrier. I transferred my sim from a damaged screen iPhone 12 using my service of Xfinity. The cell service will not work because Verizon placed the phone as "Lost". I'll assume your unlock process can't remove that type of lock. I paid for nothing.
