They get you with a good price but when you need to return the glasses you get the run around (I'm speaking for the Canadian site). The prescription was off- the progressives I got were a very, very narrow scope of focus and gave me a headache right away so I emailed them to say I wanted to return them (2 pairs), they emailed back within a day and said sorry you are not happy, you can exchange them this one time. I emailed them back and said, no, I want to return them, the prescription is not right and you do not offer a wider scope of focus for progressives (which is odd, because other sites and glasses stores do?). They ignored me because I wanted to return. I then called them and the guy tried to talk me in to exchanging and I said no, I want to return. Reluctantly he emailed me the return authorization but guess what? Since I'm in Canada they do not have preprinted return labels (which again, is odd, because I GOT THEM from them with a printed Canada Post label). The return email said they would reimburse me up to $8 for the shipping (which actually cost me $14) what they did NOT tell me is that later on I found out they can only reimburse the shipping on a PayPal account which I do not have, nor do not want. They called me a few days after to tell me this and I was not happy that a) they did not want to do a return in the first place and were trying to pressure me in to an exchange instead, b) the prescription was off from any progressive I've ever had (narrow line of sight) c) did not answer my emails when I said I wanted to return, not exchange d) was not able to offer prepaid return shipping even though they sent it to me that way e) I had to have a paypal account in order to have the (up to) $8 reimbursed for my return shipping. When they did call to tell me about the Paypal account I needed, I ended up telling them to shove the $8 up their $#@$#. I think it's a bit of a scam to tell you the truth!


Originally I had a 5 star review of BTR and lots and lots of people read it. Now, 1 star is an over statement of this piece of garbage company.

I ordered a Louis Vuitton bag for about $900 (worth about $1500)... it missed the shipping period so I asked about it... 10 times... in 5 emails, 3 web submission forms, and 2 on line chats. Oh, make that 11... I also managed to finally snag an answer on the shipped product from their FB account. I only got a half answer from an on line chat. Fast forward 7 weeks and my LV finally arrives, in a pizza box style box. Who puts an expensive item in a pizza box and leave it on the front step. I'm not a princess, I saved up for this expensive bag and was astonished how they treated my merchandise and never had the courtesy to respond to the request of where my item was. Also my item was not as described, it was more "used" than they advertised.

I should mention the on line chat girl, Leigh (who seems to be the only person who works there) said their phones were down, and so was IT... for the past 7 weeks. Want an answer from them? Try on line chat or FB message, or better yet, steer clear of this website!

Tip for consumers:
Stay away, far away!


I ordered a Bleecker coach backpack, was supposed to be charged in U. K. Pounds but was charged in usd at a super high exchange. Confronted them about it the all of a sudden the warehouse was going on vacay for 2 weeks, Was not happy but waited. They never contacted me, so I reached out again and they were now "out of stock" and offered up products I didn't want. I said no, I then want my money back. They said ok but only at 70%. That's their thing... bait and switch and most people won't fight back. Well I did. I reported to my credit card company and the police as fraud and was given money back from my cc. This company is now under investigation for fraud and selling fake bags. Too good to be true and price is soooo good... there is a reason for that.
