I experienced 2 cases of moderator abuse and lack of support shortly after.

The first case.
I commented in the forums and replied to a comment that was off topic then I got punished even though the comment I replied to was off topic. But then there was another off topic comment this one was breaking several other rules. This one made within 30 minutes of my comment and was 1 comment away(meaning right before or after mine). Both these comments remained and users who made these comments were unpunished and me and me alone was punished despite the moderator undoubtably saw all 3 comments and all were breaking the rules and only 1 comment was removed and the user punished(this means a moderator saw 3 rule breaking comments and chose to punish 1 comment that broke 1 rule and ignore the one that broke 3 rules and ignore and another rule breaking comment). When a ticket was submitted it was ignored.

The second case.
I was once again commenting on forums and got punished this time my comment didn't break any rules. In this thread many users were insulting and flaming other users. However I remained able to reply without insulting or flaming the other users. Only my comment one of only few in the thread devoid of insults was removed and me one of the few users who was not flaming or insulting others was punished. This was either a obvious mistake or a clear and obvious abuse of power I don't know which and didn't care. So I submitted a ticket to support obviously as I thought it was an Obvious mistake and that it would be quickly fixed however steam support ignored and closed my ticket without resolving the issue.

Then I tried to search the internet about what I should do. Then I stumbled upon more then I could count of cases where steam support was unacceptable. I have seen many users with severe issues ones that could cost 100s or 1000s of dollars and steam support ignored the users tickets. And sometimes steam support will even threaten users luckily I haven't been threatened by steam support but I've been to scared to make another ticket as they may threaten me or even just remove my account from steam entirely. Then when searching for a solution I came across places like this in hopes that I may have my issue resolved also to hopefully have valve fix this issue for users and bring this issue to light for other users who haven't experienced this issue yet. Further more to show everyone how severe and serious of an issue this is.

This issue is unacceptable. I have seen many terrible support systems. But they almost always eventually fix your issues. But steam support Completely ignoring the users issues and costing users 100s or 1000s of dollars plus all of their friends and destroying steam is completely unacceptable.

Tip for consumers:
Be warned be careful steam support will not help you with your issues almost ever they also have been known to threaten users. Be careful try to avoid using community services moderators will constantly ban users and remove content if they see you because they dislike you.
