The Pricing is incorrect. For example, This Celia B dress was originally $287.50 on the designer's website, but it's listed at $455 as the original price on The Real Real site. How in the world did they come up with the price point? If a customer buys this item, they will be paying almost $400 for a dress that was never even valued at $300 by the designer. Do your research before just buying and taking the Real Real's word for it. This item was never $455. The also have the same dress listed as $435 as the original price. The company needs to be more efficient.

I bought several items from The Real Real. I returned 3 items in the same box and paid for the shipping myself. In spite of my consolidated return, TheRealReal processed the return for my items and deducted shipped for all three items from my return amount. If I wasn't paying attention, they would have made an additional $35.85 for me returning the items. They verified that I didn't use their prepaid shipping labels, but insisted that I provide tracking information for me to get a refund. This is ridiculous. I don't plan to patronize them anymore. Be watchful of your return amounts because they may be deducting more from your return than you know.

I purchased some Fendi earrings (almost $500) and upon arrival one of the earrings was tarnished. I immediately notified Matchesfashion.com. I asked if there was an opportunity to exchange for another pair. I was asked to send pictures of the earrings, which I did. I was told that a decision would be made within 48 hours and someone would contact me at that time. 48 hours went by - no response from Matchesfashion.com, 72 hours went by- no response, 96 hours went by- no response, 120 hours- no response, 144 hours went by- no response. Only after I contacted Matchesfashion to hold them accountable to ME as a customer did I hear from them. They acted as if I was bothering them, and said that they wouldn't be providing a monetary credit or refund and that I need to return the item. I HIGHLY recommend that you don't purchase anything from this retailer. They don't value customers, they aren't customer service focused, and they sold me tarnished earrings without trying to make it right. I don't ever plan to purchase anything from their site going forward.
