Ordered a $2.95 background check and then a $4.95 background check, trying to find a person's prison record. Received an empty report with no data. Next thing I know, my credit card is being billed for $44.85 per month for some scam promotion I never ordered or knew about. When I called they said I failed to cancel the "promotion" within five days. How do you cancel something you didn't know you "had" and never ordered?
How can a company such as this be allowed to operate this way? Total scam and rip off.
Of course the credit card company says to "rectify" the situation with the "merchant."
Now these thieves have my credit card number. STAY AWAY!
Hi Jack. I could not find an account associated with your name. Nonetheless, I still want to respond to your review. Our reports are comprehensive, we provide a lot of information in them and more information that you would find from court records and public records. We combine key data points, criminal records, liens/judgments, assets, and much more. The only time you won't find information is if we didn't find the information. For example, if someone has no criminal record you will not see a criminal record for them (or maybe we couldn't access it from a particular courthouse). Also, we offer a discounted introductory period for $2.99 which allows you to access unlimited information for 5 days. After that, the account turns into a full paying membership. This is all indicated during the signup process. Please contact us so we can look at your account and issue a refund if possible! Thank you
