While I've gotten a few duds from this nursery, they always stand by their customers' happiness. I've gotten refunds and discount codes when plants didn't meet expectations. They e never come back saying I'm too picky. They even refunded a plant that they said "that is just what the plant looks like but we're about happy plant moms and dads and we're going to refund it". I will say that over the last couple years the specimens have gotten smaller, but this is true of all the online nurseries. I have several plants from this nursery that are still alive and healthy after a year.

The Hoya pictured is almost 2 years old now, I'm not an expert Hoya keepers, it hasn't grown much at all. The narrow leaf mini Swiss cheese plant is a propagation I made from a larger plant that plant proper refunded - the plant came with some yellowing and continued to decline. I had to take cuttings and toss the main plant. Likely had root rot. I've had all these plants for awhile. None of these are unboxing photos.

I'd give this nursery a try over the many others in this price range.

Tip for consumers:
Give them a shot, if your aren’t happy they make it right.

Don't bother. High price. Slow non responsive service. Ships cuttings that aren't rooted and rotting. Why bother with the detailed packaging when you're sending out garbage to customers at some of the highest prices around. Callisia fell apart when coconut coir topper was removed from the top of the pot revealing a plant that was barely tucked in the soggy dirt and all stems rotten - 1 day after unboxing it's droopy and nearly dead. The Elaine (aloe shaped plant) has zero roots. After removing the coconut coir disk I noticed the plant was "bobbing" in the dirt and I had e it a slight tug and the whole plant easily slide from the dirt revealing a rotting end and zero roots. That's right out of the box folks! The string of turtles is limp and many leaves dropped from the plant at unboxing. This is a very delicate plant and based on the other two, I have low hopes for the survival of this plant. I also got a black cardinal philo. Not sure this plant (while actually live) is the plant described on the site. The string of hearts was not as full as the picture/plant description suggested but the plant at least appears to be alive.

I emailed and haven't received a response from the seller. I plane to charge back the purchase through my credit card company. I honestly hope this business crashes and burns - owners obviously do not care about customers. Price gouging and zero service. This nursery just wants to take your money and run. So I suggest you take your money and run!

If you want an online nursery that stands by their product - Plant Proper. Ive had some duds from them but they are hyper responsive and always refund when you're dissatisfied and have often added the bonus of discounts on future purchases. Also Plant Proper is reasonably priced.

So - Planterina is over priced (even with a 50% off sale) and they dont respond to customer inquiries in reasona me times. And they ship out small, subpar, rotting, dying plants. Thumbs down! Take YOUR money and run literally anywhere else to buy plants!

Tip for consumers:
Don’t. Buy anywhere but here!
