Excellent staff. Excellent food. I especially recommend the brownies and carrot cake. Baked goods are always fresh and moist. Pretty affordable to as far as bakeries go.

They have a brick and mortar store as well as a website. Lots of old fashioned candy I remember from childhood - candy cigarettes, cut rock candy at Christmas, lots of chocolates and fun stuff around Halloween. Staff has always been friendly and helpful.

When the pandemic hit, I began looking for grocery delivery services that accept EBT as payment and found these guys. I have been nothing but happy with them. Once I got charged for an item I did order but was out of stock so I didn't get it. One quick call to customer service and it was taken care of. They offered to come back to my house the next day just to deliver the item, or give me a credit. No hassle at all. The food is generally good, especially the pizzas! I have two tiny 'complaints' - I wish they could give a better idea of the delivery window because right now it's basically an eight hour window. I know it's hard to narrow it down, esp right now so its not a huge deal. My other complaint is more a suggestion - I wish they carried more bread - hot dog and hamburger buns, maybe more type of sandwich bread. But I understand they can only stock so many items at a time.

Micheal's used to have a decent selection of items but it has went really downhill in the past few years. The listed prices are outrageous, but there are ALWAYS 'coupons' available. But if something is always on sale, is it really? Unless you need something desperately for that birthday gift tomorrow, I suggest going to Amazon, $#*! Blick or just about anywhere else.

Questions and answers are (as near as I can tell) uncensored and un-monitored in any way. This results in some crazy questions and even crazier answers sometimes.

  • King Arthur Flour

I buy almost exclusively King Arthur products for all my bread making. (If they had OO flour and cornmeal, I'd never go anywhere else. I have found the recipes to always be easily doable and tasty.

I used to love the Food Network years ago. Now it seems to be nothing but reality TV and Guy Fieri. No more Emeril. No more Mario. And certainly no older programming like Julia Child. I can't tell you the last time I saw an actual recipe on this channel. Even Good Eats has moved to HULU now.

  • Daily Goodie Box

It did take several months, but that partly because I am not always on line very much and they have a lot of subscribers, but I finally did get a box and I love it. Not just sample size things either. I got a couple full size products and a pair of socks listed at between $15 - $20 a pair at Amazon. Also some very nice face cream that I've used a few times. A delicious cashew bar and some laundry and cosmetic samples that I haven't used it. Love these guys and can't wait to win another box.
